3 Months

Has it really been three months already?! Henry was at the doctor last week to have something checked out and he weighed in at 14 lbs. 3 oz. He'll go back for a well-baby visit next month and get all the "official" stats then.

He's full of smiles and coos these days and loves batting at his animals on his playmat. He also loves watching the animals on his mobile in his crib. And of course his big sister still loves to give him hugs and kisses.

Stealth Dog

I got my nails trimmed yesterday. It was not a pleasant experience. The good news though is that now I can sneak up on my people without tap-tap-tapping on the hardwood. That's been fun.

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'...

My tall girl person saw Henry roll from his front to his back when he was 1 month old. She thought it must be a fluke because it seemed too early. Baldy didn't believe her and she waited and waited for him to see for himself. Finally, about 2 weeks ago he did. Even better, it has now been captured on video. I guess that makes it official. Henry is rolling from front to back.

(Yeah, I'm not sure why it looks like there's a huge crease going around his head. I promise he's not wearing a headband. Ha.)

My girl person was finally able to catch some smiles on camera.

Dance Camera

My people are slackers. They had set aside a couple of toys Lily got for Christmas 2008 to bring out later, except that they forgot to actually bring them back out until now. 2010. A little over a year later. Whoops. In any case, this particular toy is a dance camera that hooks up to the TV. Different characters come out and dance while Lily follows along and watches herself. It's probably a good thing my people waited to bring it out because now she is old enough to "get" it and to actually try to follow along. There's also a setting where you can just hook it up to the iPod and she can watch herself freestyle dance to any music she wants. She loves Taylor Swift (especially the "princess song" Love Story) and she also enjoys drumming along with the Foo Fighters. In any case, here she is dancing along with the characters. Sorry it's so dark.
