Doe, a deer...

...a stinky filthy deer. Actually, I spotted 3 of them this time. I'm pretty sure one of them left a present for my people near their driveway. I'm including a couple of pictures...of the deer, not the present. This first one reminds me of the evil Bailey picture. It is a bit dark, but you get the point.

Here is a better shot. This is the same deer trying to scamper away. It is to the left of the big tree in the middle.

Here is a video providing proof of my awesome guarding skills. Notice how the intruder wanders away once I start barking.

First Teeth

Well, it only took her 13 months. Lily has finally cut her first teeth. If you look closely in this picture, you can see her top two teeth poking through. I don't know how she has survived this long without them. How would she shred up deer, panther and opposum that come into her territory?

Proof that she really walks!

Animal Control

There has been a pest problem in my backyard recently. As you already know, an opossum invaded my territory a few weeks ago. I spotted a deer a few days ago getting a little too close to my territory. Once again, my stubborn people refused to open the door for me. Anyway, this is a picture of what I hope he looks like soon.

Today, I spotted a nasty vicious black cat loitering in my yard. I was trapped inside and unable to do anything about it. If you look closely in the picture below, you can see the evil feline near the beautiful shed in the backyard.

Here is a closer shot. You can still make out the nice shed, adorned with lovely flowers, and not a bit of rust. You can also see the wee beady eyes of the creature.

Here is a closeup. You can really see how vicious this cat is. Look at those teeth! He would've been no match for me though. My people say I am stocky.

She Walks!

Lily finally decided to take off and start walking this past Friday. She had taken steps on her own for a little while, but now all she wants to do is walk laps around the house. She's not chasing me yet though.

A stomach bug has been going around our household. It's a good thing us dogs don't really catch those sorts of things. I may be taking care of the entire family for the next couple of days.

Freedom!

I was released from Puppy Prison (as Bailey likes to call it) this morning...finally! It feels good to be home. I ran into the house and sniffed everything to make sure no funny business had happened while I was gone. There are a few extra toys for Lily lying around, but everything else seems to be the same. Anyway, I figured you all were worried about me. I just wanted to let you know that I survived and am home now. Hopefully I won't have to go back to that place for a while though. Now I'm going to settle in to take a nice, long nap. I'm exhausted!
