About Beds

My two girl people were talking last night.

---

Lily: "Henry sleeps in a crib."

Katie: "Yep. When you were little you slept in a crib too. The crib Henry uses now used to be yours."

Lily: "Now I'm a big girl."

Katie: "You sure are! And you sleep in a big girl bed!"

Lily: "And you're a really, really big girl. You sleep in a woman bed! And daddy sleeps in a man bed!"

---

I wish someone would've asked her what kind of bed I sleep in. I wonder what her answer would've been?

Belated 6 Month Check-Up

Henry went for his 6 month check-up today (he'll be 7 months old in a week). He weighs 17.3 lbs., is 26-1/2" long and has a head circumference of 17-1/4". That puts him in the 50th percentile in every category. I hear he did pretty well with his shots. Big sister did even better. It's my understanding that she usually cries and carries on too even though she's not the one getting stuck, but she didn't cry at all this time. Henry cried, but stopped as soon as the nurse was done and then shot her a dirty look as she left the room. According to my big girl person the nurse said, "Ooh, that look!" Ha. Anyway, Henry's a healthy almost 7 month old. He goes back at 9 months.

We Have Mobility!

He's not quite crawling, but is definitely mobile. Watch out! A little head bonk into the chair might slow him down, but it's not going to stop him.

Big sister is excellent motivation too. Especially when she gives "treats" at the end as if he were a dog like me.

I apologize for my tall girl's snort laugh at the end of that video. Ha!

Chomp Chomp

Henry has two teeth on the bottom now. Can you see them?

I Told You So

I told you I'd end up on Baldy's lap when fireworks started going off.

Although, I have figured out that I can still get behind the tv even though there's not as much room as before. My people are not happy about this. Something about me possibly knocking their new tv off the stand or unplugging some of the cables. I don't understand what the big deal is.
