Laps in a Hat

Lily got a new winter hat with matching mittens for her birthday. She loves them. She wouldn't take them off and was so excited that she was running around the house with them on.

Where's Matt?

Lily loves this video. She'll watch it many, many times in a row and then get really upset when you turn it off and put the computer away.

Hangin' Tough

My girl person went to the New Kids on the Block concert on Monday. She and her friends bought tickets way back in July. It started as a joke, strictly for nostalgia. However, she ended up having a lot of fun and really enjoying the show. She first saw them in concert back in 1990 at Busch Stadium.

It was her first concert, so it only made sense to bring it full circle and see their "comeback" concert 18 years later.

Don't worry, no one wore any of the old New Kids parphernalia (buttons, t-shirts, hats, etc.).

Camping

My people went camping this past weekend. I don't know if you remember, but it was cold. It was the first time it really got cold this year. The high on Saturday was something like 42* and the low at night got down into the 30s. It's been cold every day since then. I think my people are a little crazy. Doesn't it just look cold?

Here's my bald person and Bailey Dog's tall person starting the fire.

Their little camping excursion gave me a reason to go stay with my cousins and grandma and grandpa's house. I had a blast. I've claimed the wingback chair in their living room as my own. It's in the bay window that overlooks the front yard...the perfect spot. At first I was a little jealous when I found out that Bailey Dog got to go camping with them...

...but then I remembered how warm and cozy I was curled up in that chair and figured I got the better end of the deal.

Halloween in Pictures

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. My people left the house to go to a "trunk or treat" at Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's church with Grandma and Grandpa Wagner, so I didn't have to keep a look out for people constantly coming to my front door. It was nice and relaxing. Here are some pictures of the Halloween festivities...

Lily saw my girl person cleaning out the pumpkin and decided to "help".

Here's my bald person taking his turn carving.

And here's the final product. No wonder my people had to take turns carving.

Of course, Lily dressed as a tiger this year. I think my people are going to be upset when she starts choosing her own costumes. When you ask her what a tiger says, she throws her hands in the air and yells "Touchdown!" My people have taught her well.

I hear she ran around like a crazy person all night at the Trunk or Treat. She was a hit. My people changed her into her pajamas before heading home so she could crash in the car. Tennis shoes over the footed pajamas is a pretty nice look, don't you think?

Strange People

Friday night my people left the house looking like this.

I was embarrassed for them.
