Lily got some silly putty for Christmas. She loved it. Then she decided to cover one of Henry's pacifiers with it. My people quickly learned the silly putty does not come off of pacifiers. I wish I would've gotten a picture of it. It was a sight to see. So, the pacifier went in the trash and Lily was warned if she made another mess with the silly putty she would lose it all together. A couple of days later, she took some to bed with her at nap time without telling my people. When she woke up, my people found this...
...silly putty embedded in her shirt...

...and smooshed into her stuffed animal's eye.

Baldy did some googling and discovered how to remove the silly putty. First you put WD-40 on it, then you use rubbing alcohol to remove the WD-40, then you use soap to remove the rubbing alcohol. It was quite the process.

It worked to remove the silly putty, but even after laundering the shirt is still kind of stained. These pictures are of the shirt before it went into the wash. And, of course, the stuffed animal still smells like WD-40. Needless to say, Lily lost her silly putty priveleges.
