Fire

There was a house fire around the corner from us this morning. I heard sirens and took up my post on the corner of the bed to check everything out from the bedroom window. Katie was trying to figure out what was going on and saw several neighbors walking down the street toward the activities. She took Lily and went outside to see what the fuss was about. I heard her call Greg when she got back and say that the house at the corner of Kentwood and McKelvey (for those of you who know the neighborhood) had caught fire. She was told no one was in it at the time. She counted four fire trucks at the scene along with police, ambulance, etc. Later, we heard a helicopter circling outside. Channel 4 news had come to see what was going on. We saw footage on tv and online. It was a very eventful morning.
